Transitions Development was formed with the intention
of helping people with various abilities find ways to live their best lives.
We believe that everyone, regardless of their abilities, needs support.
WE’RE HERE TO SUPPORT YOU
Through our own experiences, we’ve learned that we are less likely to live our best life without a strong support system. We also know that for people with disabilities, finding the right type of support, at the right time, from the right individuals, becomes even more important.
For someone with a disability, support might come in the form of finding and/or retaining employment. Or perhaps support comes in the form of a mentor who can assist with navigating the activities of everyday life. In each of these situations, we’re here to offer that support. It’s our mission, our passion and our purpose.
"I just wanted to let you know how wonderful you have been for David!
He absolutely loves his job and you have just been truly the most wonderful god send to him!
I wish you knew how much you have done for him and we will never be able to repay you. God bless you."

We know that having a job is an important part of many people’s lives. It’s not just a paycheck, but a means to making friends, meeting one’s social needs and contributing to the community in which they live.
For someone with a disability, finding a job is a big step toward living their best life. But once that new job is secured, finding the right support to retain that job can become just as important.
We know that it can be hard enough to navigate many of the challenges our day-to-day life brings, but especially for those with disabilities. That's why we believe everyone could use a little mentoring.
